Nimansa commenced her pupillage in July 2025 under the supervision of Manoj Rupasinghe and Jay Nutkins. She was previously a caseworker with the Crown Court team handling matters in all areas of criminal law including – drugs, theft, fraud and violent crime. She received her LLB (Hons) from the University of London and completed the bar course at the City Law School. She is also qualified as an Attorney-at-Law in the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, where she worked in criminal prosecution - especially with sexual offences, murder, GBH and offences against children. Nimansa has worked as a County Court advocate appearing in civil matters such as debt recovery, landlord and tenancy disputes, mortgage disputes and other contractual disputes. She also has experience in commercial law and international commercial arbitration. Nimansa was Called to the Bar by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’ s Inn in 2023. Practice Areas
